Club Records Best Ever Results at County Relays

It was an exceptional performance from everybody at the county relays and skins events.

Such a strong performance to round the season off in style. Medals and titles in every age group from 9-10 to senior.

In skins Finn Nicholl and Joe Stratton came 2nd in the 15& over and 12-14 age groups respectively, whilst Ella Shaw and Paul Stanley also earned points for the team.

The senior and junior age groups were perfect role models with strong team cohesion to win all apart from 4 titles. Including the senior men’s medley relay which has never been done before.

Many people were swimming up, such as the girls who still won the junior free trophy despite some swimmers having another 2 years in the age group.

Without doubt this has been the MOST SUCCESSFUL county relay and skins performance ever. And there is not a single person who competed, cheered on, helped out or set up today who did not contribute to this. Cannot thank everyone enough for making history today. It does not go unnoticed.

All the Trophies are on display in the Apex Trophy cupboard upstairs at the Leisure Centre.

We also got a Silver medal in the Boys(U/16) Medley Championships.

In addition, the following teams won age group Gold: Boys 9/10 Freestyle Boys 9/10 Medley Girls 15/U Freestyle

The following teams won Silver: Girls 9/10 Freestyle Girls 9/10 Medley Girls 11/U Freestyle Boys 15/U Freestyle Boys 15/U Medley

And the 11/U Girls Freestyle team won Bronze.
